If students decide that they
want to practice what they’ve learned.
Instructor: Pamela Lund
Learn how to safely etch your own hand drawn designs into copper,
brass, bronze and silver. Simple techniques, inexpensive materials
and a creative imagination will provide you with an exciting, versatile
new artistic dimension. We'll discuss how you can use your finished
pieces to imprint designs on other materials, add patinas and attach
your metal to other materials with easy "cold connections".
Hands-on etching, along with demonstrations, will allow you to
experiment on the various metals and take home some of your own
etchings.
Pamela will provide a list of materials to bring. However, the
instructor will probably have students bring things like apron,
plastic bowl or tray with tight fitting lid, sketches or designs
they would like to use.
