beautiful blooming wisteriaHello to Springtime!

MAY 2015

As you can see by the blooming wisteria on the crooked arbor we are in full swing in Bassetti's Gardens. We have been working in the gardens since the middle of March due to the mild weather. Bill has replanted several areas of the perennial border hoping that the alstromeria he removed will make way for the large areas of delphinium, foxglove, giant lilies, flocks, yarrow, plume poppy, and bee balm amongst other perennials.

I've had some great help in the garden galleries (Deborah, Becky, and Dana.) We have a new look to start the new season along with new art work: from Barbara Wyatt containers and bird houses (see container photo below); colorful scarves by Deborah Taylor; knitted scarves with scarf pins made by Carol's Creations; new glass dishes by Lisa Nicholson/Glass Infusion; to folding outdoor colorful chairs by Laughing Creek Productions.

stoneware plant containers by Barbara WyattWe are working on the new Garden Art Show (June 27 and 28) which will include seven artists/vendors here selling and displaying their metal, wood, and glass garden inspired creations.

The water features are up and running so hope to see you soon: Friday or Saturday 10:30am to 4:30pm or by appointment.
